Tips Menghadiri Pesta Topeng Untuk Pemakai Kacamata

Berhasil! 🙂

When I heard my company dinner and dance theme of the year is gonna be “Masquerade Extravaganza”, I got a little concerned because in my mind I have only two choices:

  1. I have to put off my glasses and wear ball masks along the dinner. It’s no secret that my eyes are sensitive to contact lenses, so i still wear spectacles at all occasions whether it’s a party or even on stage (and people have complained about the reflection from my glasses ^^!)
  2. Become the only one who is not wearing ball masks during the dinner.

Few months after the announcement, two of my colleagues told me that they are not comfortable with putting off glasses. One of them recommended me to purchase lacy mask from an online shopping website Tao Bao.

When I got the lacy mask in front of me a few weeks later, I begin to think on how to put them together (mask and specs) before the actual day. I’ve tried double sided tape, but within few seconds they detached and become unsynchronized.

The next day I found black sewing thread at home, and had an idea to tied it in the middle, left and right side of my specs. Successful! Thanks God!
